Rule #10 – Scissor Lift Truck Platform Controls Must Be Independent of the Ground Crew.

SPA Safety Systems safety standards dictate that all scissor lift trucks include a control panel for platform operators be able to raise, lower, and emergency stops the platform and platform extensions.  The control can also include the ability to turn the truck engine on and off to prevent excessive idling time.
